About the LACC
A space for Battle Lake to gather since 2008.
​
The Lakes Area Community Center (LACC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization started in April of 2008 to establish a community center for the benefit of the people of the greater Battle Lake area.
​
In January 2022, due to the ongoing maintenance and cost of the building at 112 W Main Street, the LACC decided that the best way to move forward and continue operations was to sell the space that they've called home.
​
We will continue to serve our community through events such as summer turtle races, coordinating the Wenonga Days events and the Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee. We will also continue our business promotional events with the "Hunt is On" and "Hop into Spring" incentives to help our local businesses thrive during the off season.
