The Lakes Area Community Center (LACC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization started in April of 2008 to establish a community center for the benefit of the people of the greater Battle Lake area.​

​

We believe that thriving communities educate, attract, and retain great people of all ages. We are on a mission to keep the Battle Lake area thriving through these community efforts. 

​

We will continue to serve our community through events such as summer turtle races, coordinating the Wenonga Days activities, the Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee, the Farmers Market, and more. We will serve through our business promotional events with the "Hunt is On" and "Hop into Spring" incentives, helping our local businesses thrive during the off season. Lastly, we will continue to promote community events through our community calendar as well as collaborate with local organizations on projects that better our area.
